Registration
Welcome to the International Congress for the New Evangelisation, Budapest 2007 registration page.
The registration system is based on the registration of the groups, that is why if you register as one individual, you have to register as a group (such a group consists of one group leader only).
Here you will read a short summary of the most important things to know about registration.
The steps you have to follow for registration
1) give the particulars of the group leader
2) give the particulars of the group
3) fill in with the particulars of the group members
Steps 2 and 3 have to be given at the same time, together.
You have registered successfully only if you have fulfilled all three steps.
Your registration is only considered accepted when your participation fee has arrived.
Definition of group
Ones belong to a group if they arrive in Budapest together, leave Budapest at the same time, choose the same tariff, and apply for the same type of accommodation together. Each group needs to have a group leader, who will take part in the International Congress for the New Evangelisation, Budapest 2007 programs together with the group. One group may have members between 1 and 50 people. Big groups are required to divide and register as separate individual groups. Basically we will be in contact with the group leaders that is why we require less data from the group members.

Particulars
For the registration, part of the data has to be given obligatorily, the rest is only suggested.
For the registration, the following data are necessary and obligatory:

about the group leader: first name, surname, date of birth, home address, phone number, e-mail, language used to be in contact with coordinators

about the group: number of people, exact time and place of arrival in Budapest and departure from Budapest, means of transport, if you arrive by air, please provide flight number, selected tariff (details at the Tariffs menu)

about each member of the group: first name, surname, date of birth, phone number or e-mail (provide at least one), chosen language for the congress workshops
After you have given the personal particulars of the group leader, we will immediately send the group identification code and password to your e-mail, and you can start the registration of the group. You have to provide the obligatory data/ particulars of the group and of each member at the same time. Please do not start to type in the data until you have all the information because the registration system will not store data which has not been finalized.
As the last step the program will give you the sum that has to be paid by the group. Only after accepting this will the system consider the application complete and finalize it.
Payment of fees
After having accepted the application, we will inform the group leader in an e-mail about the way of paying. Please transfer the money for participation not later than the deadline given in the e-mail. After a short tolerable time of waiting we will send you a warning e-mail about paying, but after a second time of waiting we will delete the group from our registration list. There is the possibility of paying the group’s participation fee in smaller units (not in one sum) but in this case, please make sure you obey the deadlines again. When transferring the money you will have to indicate the group identification code because without this the system will not be able to match the sum with the group, and so this money will only be handled as donation.
Payment with credit cards
First of all we suggest you to pay by bank transfer, but through the PayPal internet secure payment possibility you can also do your payment via your credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa or American Express). For details of this payment method please consult the confirmation mail of participation fees in your e-mail box, that we will send to you when you will have finished the group registration’s process.
If you need an invoice of the payment, please indicate this at the related question and give the address where you would like the invoice to be sent. The ready-made invoice will be available for the group leaders together with the congress package at the central reception place which will be indicated in our last e-mail.
When you are doing your bank transfer, please do not forget that all the costs in connection with the transfer have to be covered by your bank, otherwise our system will automatically charge the sum curtailed by the transfer costs and will warn you in an e-mail to supply the missing sum. After the group’s participation fee has arrived, we will send you a confirmation feedback e-mail. Please, print out this e-mail and bring it with you. Payment on the premises is not possible.
How can I change the data?
Group leaders (with their e-mail, group identification code and password) will have the opportunity to update the data: you can add and correct data, change members of the group, but please note that you cannot make any changes later that will modify the price (so no modification of the number of participants and changing tariffs is possible). If you would like to make changes in the price, you can only do it by deleting the group and registering it again. After each change in the data, the group leader will get a feedback notification in e-mail.
Accommodation
We can provide accommodation only between 16/17 and 22/23 September at catholic families and church communities in Budapest. If you need accommodation before or after these dates, we can kindly recommend hotels in Budapest. We will work hard to accommodate one group in one parish area, and will send all data and details of the host parish church at the beginning of September. Within your group, please mark the persons who would like to go to the same accommodation by all means. Please indicate with different letter, marking the persons who want to stay together with the same letter. In the notes section you can make comments (like married couple, disabled and accompany, etc.)
Visa
Most foreign guests coming to the Budapest International Congress for the New Evangelisation will not need visa for entering and staying in Hungary. Yet, if you are required visa while travelling to Hungary and for this you need a letter of invitation, please get in touch with Budapest Congress coordinating office: H-1035 Budapest Kórház u. 37. | These general sums (K1,K3, K5) include free admission to congress, also include interpreter, meals as indicated at the tariffs, the cost of the pilgrimage to Esztergom (only K1, K3 tariff), prices of the Budapest BKV transport pass (valid on the entire length of tram, trolley-bus, metro lines, cogwheel railway, but are only valid to the administrative boundary of Budapest on the suburban railway (HÉV) lines and bus lines), and congress package (rucksack, program booklet, town map, cap and scarf) (K1, K3, K5). You can buy day tickets on the spot, in this case you no not need to registrate. We can’t offer accomodation, transport pass and meals in this tariff.
Unfortunately we cannot pay back the participation fee. In certain serious cases (death, serious disease) you can hand in a request in a written form to the Congress chief coordinator, who can reconsider the request by personal decision.
If you join the internet on Explorer 7.0, despite the certification error message, you can open the given link, which will lead you to a secure home page (SSL). Soon the final authorization of the certification will be arranged, and from then on the error message will no longer appear. However, if you use the Mozilla Firefox browser, this temporary error does not emerge.

We receive your questions at regisztracio@varosmisszio.hu or you can call the registration group ( +36 1 484 07 45) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. When the registration of the group is complete, we send you a reinforcement e-mail.
